Jennifer grew up in South Jersey, where her Philadelphia family managed to find good cheese steaks. She learned to love baking from her mother, who sometimes lit blueberry scented candles and fooled her children into thinking she had made muffins. Jennifer graduated from Dartmouth College and has a masters degree in Journalism from Boston University. She makes delicious steak tips and very tasty cakes.

As food editor at Working Mother magazine, Jennifer Perillo, adapts meals to fit busy lifestyles. Her recipes have also been featured in Parenting, Kiwi magazine and the New York Daily News, and her on blogs The Mama Chronicles and In Jennie’s Kitchen. She has worked with world-renowned chefs, including Tom Colicchio when he was the top chef at Gramercy Tavern, and Alain Ducasse, as the Events Director at his namesake restaurant in the Essex House.
Helena Santini
Helena is a graduate of Cornell University, where she took professional cooking classes at the School of Hotel Management. It was here that she first realized the value of a properly sharpened knife, heard a lobster scream, and learned that 1 pound of whole apples = 3 cups of sliced apples. She is the owner of over 100 cookbooks, can produce a restaurant suggestion for any situation at a moment’s notice, and firmly believes that a signature cocktail is the key to any party.
